Vehicular Accident
DUMALINAO - Vehicular
accident transpired at about 6:30 PM, November 18, 2016, at along National
Highway of Purok, Marang, Barangay Sebucao, Dumalinao, Zamboanga Del Sur
wherein one single mc XRM 125 with plate no. 4525 JQ driven by Edwin Gemina
Pontaña, 38 years old, married with his backrider identified as Gerome
Temporada Ende, 24 years old, single and both a resident of Barangay Camanga,
Dumalinao, Zamboanga Del Sur were bumped by an Isuzu Elf truck with plate no.
090805 driven by Reymar Tamayo Villanueva, 24 years old, single and a resident
of Purok Pines, Barangay Sanito, Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay. Both driver and
backrider of said mc sustained physical injuries on the different parts of
their bodies and were brought to Jameliaren Hospital, Pagadian City but the
driver Edwin Pontaña was declared dead on arrival the attending physician. The
driver of said truck voluntary surrendered himself to the personnel of
Dumalinao MPS.
Hacking Incident
MIDSALIP - Hacking
incident transpired at about 8:45 PM, November 18, 2016, at Purok 2, Barangay
Bibilop, Midsalip, Zamboanga Del Sur wherein victim identified as Warlito
Sungcalang Lasula, 53 years old, married, farmer and a resident of Purok 2,
Barangay Guma, Midsalip, was hacked by suspect identified as Carlito Sedrome
Ampuller, of legal age, married, farmer and a resident of abovementioned place
with the use of a bolo. Victim sustained one hacked wound on the right side of
his shoulder and was immediately brought to Mhars-Gen Hospital, Ozamis City for
medical treatment. Suspect fled to unknown direction after the incident. Motive
of the incident is still to be determined.
