Incident in Dumingag
On June 02, 2018 at about 02:00 AM, stabbing
incident transpired at Purok 2, Brgy. San Vicente, Dumingag, Zamboanga Del Sur.
The victim identified as Jovert Dayap
Senarillos, 9 years of age, was stabbed by his father Roberto Abong Senarillos.
Investigation conducted disclosed that
the victim was sleeping together with his mother Joan Dayap Senarillos and the
suspect father Roberto Abong Senarillos.
Therein, the mother was awakened by the
groan of the latter in which she noticed that it was already bleeding while his
husband was kneeling beside her son and holding a knife.
Therewith, she immediately grabbed the
hand of her husband and wrested the knife and subsequently shouted for help.
But eventually due to superior strength, the suspect was able to stab himself
with the use of same knife for several times on his abdomen.
Fortunately, their neighbors positively
responded and held the suspect.
The victim sustained a stabbed wound on
his abdominal part while the suspect sustained multiple stabbed wound on his
abdominal part. Both victims and suspect were immediately rushed to Ozamis City
Emergency.
Fisherman Arrested for Indiscriminate Firing in Aurora
On June 02, 2018 at about 8:00 PM, Aurora
MPS received a cellphone call from the Barangay Chairman of Barangay Balas,
Aurora, Zamboanga del Sur informing that they arrested subject person of Felix
Ocaña Jr. Coronel, aka Dodong, 40 years old, married, fisherman and a resident
of Purok Pantalan, Barangay Balas, Aurora, Zamboanga del Sur. The arrested
person was fired his gun at the above mentioned place.
Upon receipt of the said information,
PNP team of Aurora MPS proceeded to Barangay Lintugop, Aurora, Zamboanga Del
Sur purposely to fetched the suspect.
Barangay Kagawad Danny Arcangel y
Saquin together with his two CVOs turned over the subject person to the
responding PNP personnel of Aurora MPS and turned over the one (1) unit of
caliber .38 revolver Smith and Wesson without serial number loaded with four
(4) live ammunition, one (1) empty shell and holster colored green.
The arrested subject person is now
under the custody of Aurora MPS for proper disposition.
Farmer
Arrested for Violation of RA 10591 in Mahayag
PNP personnel of Mahayag MPS conducted
service of warrant of arrest at Purok 4, Barangay Boniao, Mahayag, Zamboanga
Del Sur At about 6:00 PM of June 1, 2018.
The operation resulted in the arrest of
Bonifacio Gapo Pitogo (Top Most Wanted Person), 55 years old, separated and
farmer and a resident of Purok 4, Barangay Boniao, Mahayag, Zamboanga Del Sur.
He was arrested by virtue of warrant of
arrest issued on November 18, 2018 by Hon. Jaime B. Caberte, Presiding Judge,
Regional Trial Court, Ninth Judicial Region, Branch 23, Molave, Zamboanga del
Sur for Violation of RA 10591 with recommended bail bond of One Hundred
Thousand Pesos (100,000.00 php).
During the conduct of arrest, the said
wanted person armed with bladed weapon and the later attacked/stabbed PO2
Caylan that prompted the said arresting police officer to shot the said wanted
person at the knee to repel the ongoing attack.
The suspect was immediately brought to
Mahayag Hospital for immediate medical attention and later brought to
Zambaoanga del Sur Medical Center, Dao Pagadian City for further medical
treatment.
Stabbing
Incident in Pagadian City
On June 02, 2018 at about 12:30 AM, a
stabbing incident transpired at Gate 10, Agora Public Market, Sta Lucia,
Pagadian.
The victim identified as Judith
Sumaragot Sabate, 38 y/o, female, and a resident of Purok Tundan, Langapod, Labangan,
Zamboanga del Sur.
She was stabbed by her live-in partner
identified as Alberto Matchuca Medina, 71 y/o, male and a resident of Purok
Lakatan, Langapod, Labangan, Zamboanga del Sur.
Investigation conducted disclosed that
while the victim was drinking tuba wine in the market stool along Gate 10,
Agora Public Market, Pagadian City.
The suspect arrived and asked
forgiveness then proposed to rekindle their relationship as live-in partners
and further warned the victim should she not follow the suspect’s intention, he
will be constrained to kill the victim.
Thereupon the victim denied the
suspect’s request and as succeeding events, suspect pulled a knife from his
waist then stabbed the victim hitting on her body who sustained seven (7)
stabbed wounds.
First responder, Hon Bonifacio
Boron-Brgy Captain of Sta. Lucia and brought the victim to Zamboanga Del Sur
Medical Center.
The suspect was arrested and is now
under the custody of Pagadian CPS for proper disposition.

Vehicular
Traffic Accident in Dumalinao
On June 02, 2018 at about 10:15 AM, a
vehicular traffic accident transpired at National Highway of Purok Acasia,
Sumadat, Dumalinao, Zamboanga del Sur.
Two vehicles involving V1-Toyota hilux
color Attitude black, with red plate no. SAA 6645, pick-up type, and driven by
Mark Demit Cañete, 23 years old, single, a resident of Prk.1, Oroquieta City
and V2-Toyota Innova color Thermalyte, with temp. plate no. A4N 430, wagon
type, and driven by Efren Esconde Tomarong, 51 years old, married, a resident
of Poblacion, Tigbao, Zamboanga del Sur.
Investigation conducted disclosed that
both vehicles were moving on the same direction from Pagadian City bound for
Dumalinao, Zamboanga del Sur as part of the convoy of Hon. Senator Cynthia
Villar who will visit the Municipality of Dumalinao. That upon reaching at
above mention place, Vehicle 1 applied sudden brake to avoid hitting the
vehicle ahead, and however, the tailing Vehicle 2 failed to recognize the
sudden stop of Vehicle 1 and accidentally bumped the rear portion of the
Vehicle 1.
As a result, both vehicles incurred
damages and no reported injuries both vehicles are temporary held in Dumalinao
MPS for proper disposition.
