Incident in Bayog
BAYOG, Zamboanga del Sur (June 15,
2018) - Hacking incident transpired
at Purok 4, Barangay Deporehan, Bayog,
Zamboanga del Sur Wednesday around 7:40am.
The victim identified as Ponciano Sito
Esig, 39 years, farmer and a resident of said place was hacked by suspect
identified as Edwin Puap Edlog, 30 years old, married, farmer, and also a
resident of same place.
The PNP elements of Bayog Municipal Police
Station (MPS) immediately responded to the place of incident to verify the
veracity of said report and conduct investigation.
Upon arrival thereat, personnel of Army
detachment in the area turned-over the above named suspect who voluntarily
surrendered to them right after the incident including the bolo used in the
commission of the crime.
Initial Investigation conducted
disclosed that, while victim and his wife were on their way to the Barangay
Hall about 300 meters away from their residence to report that he was boxed by
said suspect. But, while on their way they encountered said suspect and without
apparent reason said victim was hacked by the suspect with the use of a bolo
hitting on the right back portion of his neck which causes his untimely
death.
Further investigation revealed that,
prior to the incident, according to the report of Barangay Chairman Basilio
Promon of said place, on the day before, the two (2) were having a drinking
session at the house of their neighbors of the abovementioned place and when
got drunk.
The victim boxed the suspect in which
the suspect also reported to the Barangay Chairman early in the morning of same
date.
Bayog MPS investigator on case SPO3
Ernesto D Amban with contact no. 09066609437 is now conducting thorough
investigation regarding the incident. Motive of the incident is personal
grudge.
12-year
old girl hit by stray bullet in Pagadian City
PAGADIAN CITY, Zamboanga del Sur (June
15, 2018) – A 12 years old girl was hit by the stray bullet at left shoulder
Wednesday at about 5:00pm, police official said.
PO2 Mizrach Lapid, investigator on case
identified the victim as Lovel Makiling Gabon, 12 years old, Grade 8 student of
Danlugan National High School and a resident of Purok Cadena de Amor, Barangay
Alegria, Pagadian City.
In the initial investigation disclosed
that the incident transpired at Purok Kamunggay, Barangay Alegria in this city.
While the victim was buying their snack
at the Sari-Sari store owned by Victoria Baleton located at the above-mentioned
place when she heard a burst of gunfire from a nearby altercation of male
persons along the barangay road, PO2 Lapid said.
The victim ran and dropped to the
ground where she found that she was hit by a stray bullet at the upper left
part of her left shoulder, Police investigator added.
The victim immediately brought to
Zamboanga Del Sur Medical Center, Dao, Pagadian City for medical attention

Robbery
Incident and Arrest of Suspect in Tambulig
TAMBULIG, Zamboanga del Sur (June 15,
2018) – Tambulig Municipal Police Station (MPS) arrested the suspect of robbery
on June 12, 2018 at about 2:00 PM in Calolot
Mountain Resort situated at Purok 2, Barangay Calolot in Tambulig municipality,
of this province.
A certain Teresito Espinosa Siete Jr.
reported to Tambulig MPS informing that his Three (3) unit Cell Phone (2
unit-OPPO 837 and 1 unit-ZH&K) was allegedly lost/missing inside his bag
while being placed at their rented cottage inside Calolot Mountain Resort
situated at Purok 2, Barangay Calolot, Tambulig, Zamboanga del Sur.
The PNP Operatives of Tambulig MPS
immediately proceeded to the reported place of incident to conduct ocular
inspection and investigation.
That while the Investigator-On-Case
SPO1 Onyx Neri Dela Cruz Jr. is on the process of conducting thorough
investigation and also the owner Teresito Espinosa Siete Jr. exerted utmost
effort to have a contact on his lost/missing cellular phone by dialing his
numbers several times using the cellular phone of his cousin. Fortunately, the
unidentified suspect answered the call and then demanded a money amounting Two
Thousand Five Hundred Pesos (P2,500.00) in exchange of the above-mentioned
cellular phones.
PNP personnel of Tambulig MPS conducted
an entrapment operation at Barangay Dipolo in the municipality of Molave of
this province where the suspect gave the venue. At about 5:20pm of same day,
the suspect was arrested. The suspect identified as Leonardo Goc-Ong Palacio,
29 years old, with live-in partner and a resident of Barangay Dipolo, Molave.
The police operatives recovered from
the position and control of the suspect were the following: a) Three (3) unit
Cellular Phone (2 unit-OPPO 837 and 1 unit-ZH&K); and b) 2,000.00 peso bill
registered as entrapment money bearing serial numbers-TS037295 and SK502874).
Arrested suspect is temporary detained
at Tambulig MPS detention cell while an appropriate charges against him is now
being prepared for filing in court
Homicide
Suspect Nabbed in Bonifacio
DUMINGANG, Zamboanga del Sur (June 15,
2018) – The Joint PNP personnel of Dumingag Municipal Police Station (MPS), Tangub
Cit Police Station and Bonifacio MPS conducted Manhunt Charlie operation at
Purok 1, Barangay Dimalco, Bonifacio, Misamis Occidental at about 11:00 AM of June 13, 2018.
The operation was resulted to the
arrest of Oscar Arapon Ambuan, 33 years old, married, male and resident of
Sitio Gilala, Purok 1, Barangay Datu Tutukan, Dumingag, Zamboanga del Sur.
The suspect was arrested by virtue of
warrant of arrest for the crime of Homicide docketed under Criminal Case No.
2018-10-3508 issued by Hon. Jaime Caberte, Presiding Judge, RTC 9 Branch 23,
Justice Hall in Pagadian City. The case has bail bond recommended is fixed to
Forty Thousand Pesos (Php 40,000.00) for his temporary liberty.
The accused is now temporary detained
at Dumingag MPS detention cell awaiting court disposition
Illegally
cut Lumbers confiscated in Midsalip
MIDSALIP, Zamboanga del Sur (June 15,
2018) - The PNP personnel of Midsalip Municipal Police Station (MPS) conducted
checkpoint at Purok Curvada Poblacion –A in the municipality of Midsalip,
Zamboanga Del Sur at around 2:00 PM of June 13, 2018.
The team was able to flagged down one
(1) Cargo Truck Isuzu Elf color blue bearing with plate No. 120108 driven Jimmy
Antipuesto Taga-an with expired driver’s license loaded with more or less 2,400
board feet of assorted lumber of Bakan and Tipolo trees owned by a certain Gomer Ambulong.
The said lumber brought to Midsalip MPS
for proper disposition. Thereafter, PSI Kenneth Soon- Chief of Police of
Midsalip MPS coordinated Dr. Adelaida Borja, CENR Officer of Ramon Magsaysay,
Zamboanga del Sur.
At around 2:30 o’clock in the afternoon
of the same day, Victor I. Dajao, Jr, Surveillance and Intelligence Unit CENRO
of Ramon Magsaysay arrived at MIdsalip MPS and conducted inventory the said
confiscated lumber with estimated board feet of 2,400 board ft. amounting to
Thirty Thousand Pesos (Php 30,000.00).
The assorted lumbers were now turned
over to DENR CENRO of Ramon Magsaysay, Zamboanga del Sur for proper disposition.
Farmer
Held in San Miguel for the Crime of
Attempted Homicide
SAN MIGUEL, Zamboanga del Sur (June 15,
2018) - The PNP personnel of San Miguel Municipal Police Station (MPS) arrested
the suspect of attempted homicide during their conduct of Manhunt Charlie
operation at Purok 1, Langilan, San Miguel, Zamboanga del Sur at about 10:25 AM of June 13, 2018.
The police operatives identified the
arrested suspect as Raffy Aclao y Alangkas, 35 years old, male, married, farmer
and a resident of aforementioned place.
The said wanted person arrested by
virtue of warrant of arrest for the crime of Attempted Homicide docketed under
Criminal Case No. 1771-SM issued by Hon. Maria Teresa R Pangilinan, Presiding
Judge of 6th MCTC of -San Miguel- Dinas- Lapuyan 9th
Judicial Region based in San Miguel, Zamboagna del Sur dated January 9,
2018. Bail bond recommended amounting to
Twelve Thousand Pesos (12,000. 00) for his temporary liberty.
The accused is now temporary detained
at San Miguel detention cell awaiting court disposition.
