Motor Vehicular Accident

Dumalinao, Zamboanga Del Sur – Vehicular accident occurred at about 11:00 AM of March 22, 2015 in Dumalinao. The vehicle involved was a Mazda bongo dropsied with plate no. jed272, driven by Ronnie Montaner Y Datowata, 43, He was traversing from Margosatubig bound for Pagadian City, however, upon reaching the municipal proper of Dumalinao particularly in front of shell gasoline station the driver of the Mazda bongo dropsied was maneuvering to park his vehicle on the side of road to unload sacks of corn for sale at the public market, unfortunately the driver lost control of the vehicle. As a result, it hit a sari-sari store. The sari-sari store owner identified as Victoria Isagan Y Sumbilon, 60, called the attention of the driver of the Mazda bongo drop side but instead settling the damage incurred at the sari-sari store hurriedly left the site and drive the vehicle towards Pagadian City which prompted the sari-sari store owner to report to authorities. The personnel of Dumalinao MPS requested through radio call to Pagadian CPS to intercept the vehicle which was on the way to Pagadian City, fortunately upon reaching Pagadian City the vehicle was intercepted by PNP personnel of Pagadian CPS and was turn-over to Dumalinao MPS for investigation relative to the incident transpired. The said driver and his driven vehicle are now in custody of Dumalinao MPS for proper disposition.

3 Caught in Labangan While in Pot Session

Labangan, Zamboanga Del Sur – Three individuals were arrested after they were caught in a pot session at the warehouse of Mohir Dalgan in Barangay Dalapang, Labangan at about 8:00 AM of March 22, 2015. Arrested persons were identified as Jemboy  Arancana Y Caipilan, 25, driver; Raufden Zaman Y Masla, 41, married, casual  employee of Labangan Municipality, both residents of Barangay Upper Campo  Islam, Labangan and Merod  Cadingilan   Y  Saligan, 29, married, farmer and resident  of  barangay upper Sang-An,  Labangan. Confiscated from their possession were one big size heat sealed  plastic sachet of white crystalline substance believed to be shabu, four (4) pieces  of aluminum foil, one lighter, used  aluminum foils. They are now detained at the said police station while appropriate case is being prepared for filing in court against them.

Alleged NPA Militia Member Nabbed in San Miguel

San Miguel, Zamboanga Del Sur – A NPA militia member was arrested by composite team of PPSC and 53^rd IB after a 38 caliber pistol and hand grenade were found in his possession during the conduct of aggressive combat patrol in Barangay Dalapan, San Miguel at about 11:00 AM of March 22, 2015. The arrested man was identified as Johnny @ Bulldog Anter. Recovered from his possession during body search were a Cal 38 pistol with defaced serial nr and 3 live ammos and one hand grenade. He was brought to Camp Abelon, Pagadian City for his temporary confinement while appropriate case is being prepared for filing against him.
