SHOOTING INCIDENT IN SAN PABLO

On or about 3:00 in the afternoon of March 26, 2015, shooting incident transpired at Purok Talisay particularly inside the house of Noraly Cabaron situated at Barangay Ticala Island, San Pablo, San Pablo, Zamboanga Del Sur wherein victim identified as one (1) Jeart Rebuyas Y Pasague, 28 years old, married, fisherman and a resident of barangay Sagasan, San Pablo, Zamboanga Del Sur was shot to death by a certain Edwin Ebrahim Y Baguio, 35 years old, married, fisherman and a resident at Sitio Sakatan, Barangay Bubual, San Pablo, Zamboanga Del Sur. Initial investigation conducted by the responding PNP personnel of San Pablo Police Station disclosed that when the victim was already inside the house of Mrs. Noraly Cabaron Y Gaudan to deliver the soft drinks (RC cola) that was bought by the victim from Pagadian City and that while in the sala,  the suspect suddenly entered the house and shot the victim several times using 45 cal pistol based on one (1) piece of fired cartridge and one (1) slug found inside the house particularly in the sala. Victim sustained multiple gunshot wounds on his chest and left arm that caused his untimely death. Motive of the incident believed to be personal grudge. Responding PNP elements conducted hot pursuit operation but turn futile and the suspect believed to be hiding somewhere in the mangrove area of municipality of Dinas, Zamboanga Del Sur.
