Mechanic Arrested in Ramon Magsaysay for Drugs

Ramon Magsaysay, Zamboanga Del Sur – A 23-year old mechanic was arrested during drug buy-bust operation conducted by the Anti-illegal Drugs Operatives of Ramon Magsaysay MPS in Sitio Alang-Alang, Barangay Poblacion, Ramon Magsaysay at about 11:30 AM of March 9, 2015.  Arrested was identified as Stephen Abel y Esparsia, 23, married, mechanic, resident of said place. Seized from the suspect are nine (9) small size heat sealed sachets containing white crystalline substance believed to be shabu. The confiscated items are now submitted to Provincial Crime Lab for confirmatory test. The arrested suspect is now under the custody of PNP PAIDSOFT while preparing a case against in court for violation of RA 9165.

Man Nabbed in Aurora for Possessing Gun

Aurora, Zamboanga Del Sur – Operatives of Aurora Police Station a 41-year old former overseas Filipino worker after he was caught in possession of Caliber 45 pistol inside the Café Rotonda, Aurora at about 12:30 AM of March 9, 2015. Police Senior Inspector Heidel B. Te-Elan, Aurora Police Chief, identified the arrested man as Kenneth Mayol Y Flores, 41, single, resident of Purok Rosas B, Barangay San Jose, Aurora, Zamboanga Del Sur. Seized from his position were one unit norinco Cal 45 pistol serial number 831472 with short mag and six live ammos and one black holster. The suspect is now temp detained at said police station while preparing appropriate charges for violation of RA 10591 against the suspect to be filed at the Provincial Prosecutor’s Office.

Driver Arrested in Ramon Magsaysay for Attempted Homicide

Ramon Magsaysay, Zamboanga Del Sur – A 40-year old driver was arrested during police operation conducted by Ramon Magsaysay MPS and Midsalip MPS in Barangay Sto. Rosarion, Ramon Magsaysay at about 2:45 PM of March 9, 2015. Police Senior Inspector Jeremias P. Soreño, Ramon Magsaysay Police Chief, identified the arrested man as Martinito Madrid Y Balane, 40, married, resident of above mentioned place. He was arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest for the crime of attempted homicide docketed in criminal case no. rm-3223 issued by Hon. Ronald C. Tolentino Presiding Judge, 10th Municipal Circuit Trial Court Of Ramon Magsaysay-Midsalip and Sominot.

Stabbing Incident

Labangan, Zamboanga Del Sur – Stabbing incident occurred at about 6:00 PM of March 9, 2015 in Purok 6, Barangay Bokong, Labangan. The victim was identified as Edwin Rubia Y Genita, 37, married, laborer at Walter Lao Construction. He was stabbed by the suspect identified as Simeon Apostadero, 36, married, also laborer.  Initial investigation conducted disclosed that both the involved person engage in heated arguments in which the suspect stabbed the victim hitting at his left armed using double blade knife. The victim sustained lone stabbed wound and was brought to the Mindero General Hospital, Pagadian City by a concern citizen for medical treatment while the suspect fled to unknown direction after the incident. The elements of Labangan MPS are now conducted hot pursuit operation for the possible arrest of the suspect.  

Dimataling Top 11 Most Wanted Nabbed

Dimataling, Zamboanga Del Sur – A 40-year old man was arrested during police operation conducted by Dimataling MPS in Barangay Tiniguangan, Dimataling at about 4:00 AM of March 10, 2015. The arrested man was identified as Fernando Ordaniza Bustamante, 40, married a resident of same place. He was listed as the top eleven (11) most wanted person of Dimataling and has a standing warrant of arrest for the crime of homicide docketed under criminal case # 13-003 issued by Judge Edilberto Absin, RTC Branch 29, Pagadian City. He is now under the custody of said police station waiting for final adjudication from the court.

  

Dimataling No. 6 Most Wanted Nabbed

Dimataling, Zamboanga Del Sur – A 40-year old man tagged as the number 6 most wanted person in Dimataling municipality was arrested during police operation conducted by Dimataling MPS in Barangay Tiniguangan, Dimataling at about 4:00 AM of March 10, 2015. Police Inspector Renante Bayona Benitez, Dimataling Police Chief, identified the arrested wanted man as Fernando Bustamante Y Ordeniza, 40, married and a resident at aforesaid. He was arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest docketed under criminal case no. 11-069 issued by Presiding Judge Hon Edilberto G Absin Of RTC Branch 29, San Miguel for crime of homicide with recommended bail  bond fixed at P40,000.00 pesos for his temporary liberty. He is now temporarily detained at the said police station for proper issuance of commitment order by the issuing court.

Accidental Firing in Pagadian

Pagadian City – An accidental firing incident occurred at about 8:45 AM of March 10, 2015 in Barangay Bulatok, Pagadian City. The victim was identified as Jomari Dalman Y Ulong, 14, out of school youth and a resident of Barangay Bulatok, Pagadian City.  the victim was hit by a broken floor tile as a result of an accidental firing of a security guard identified as joy mariano y elloreg, 25, resident of Barangay Dalama, Payao. He was assigned as security guard of Chowking Pagadian Branch and voluntarily surrendered and turned - over his issued firearm caliber 9mm, armscor brand with serial number 1300160. initial investigation conducted disclosed that the security guard was about to take over the post to outgoing security guard, however, when he checked the firearm, he took off the magazine and cocked it which then accidentally fired and hit the floor hitting the aforesaid victim with only broken floor tile. The victim sustained minor injury in his right arm and was brought to Pagadian City Health for medical treatment. The suspect was released by Pagadian City Police Station together with the firearm since the  parents of the victim is not interested to file a case against the suspect provided that the suspect would shoulder the medical expenses of the victim.

Landslide in Lakewood

Lakewood, Zamboanga Del Sur - Landslide incident occurred at about 1:20 PM of March 10, 2015 at the vicinity of Diosdado Macapagal High School situated at Purok 3, Barangay Biswangan, Lakewood, wherein two (2) persons accidentally hit and covered by topsoil. They were identified as Gaspar Tubac Y Cedeño, 31 years old, married, resident of Barangay San Roque, Dimataling, who died on the spot and Nelvin Lantig Y Sanggayan, 30 years old, married, resident of Barangay San Roque, Dimataling, who sustained injuries. initial investigation conducted revealed that the victims were  digging soil beneath in a slope area for flooring/filling purposes of the school building constructed  at the aforesaid place, however, while continue digging, the soil suddenly collapsed and fell down hitting them.  Both victims are construction workers of lucky saver construction firm. Their co-workers immediately rushed to the area for rescue/help and called the assistance of rural health for first aid headed by Nelida Seniedo- nurse assigned at the said barangay. The dead body of victim was brought to Barangay San Roque, Dimataling for burial while the other victim was brought to nearby hospital for treatment.

Shooting in Margos

Margosatubig, Zamboanga Del Sur - Shooting incident occurred at about 5:40 PM of March 10, 2015 in Purok Dama De Noche, Sitio Luguimit, Barangay Poblacion, Margosatubig. The victim was identified as Basri Binudin Y Muhammad, 31 years old, married, jobless and a resident of the aforementioned place. He was shot to death by unidentified suspect with the used of unknown caliber of firearm.  initial investigation conducted disclosed that the victim was playing billiard at Silao Billiard Center situated at the aforesaid place and he was about to go home when followed by the suspect, however, upon entering the pathway leading to his residence immediately shot by the suspect twice in close range hitting his head. He fell down on the pavement causing his instantaneous death. The suspect immediately leaved the crime scene riding a single motorcycle without plate number color black with skeleton body/ chassis towards unknown direction. The description of the suspect is light built wearing black jacket with short pants. The victim was in the watch list of Margos MPS. The elements of Margos MPS is conducting follow up investigation for possible identity and arrest of the suspect
