1 wounded in Shooting in Aurora, Zamboanga Del Sur

AURORA, ZamboSur (Aug. 27, 2018) – One person was wounded in Shooting incident transpired at Purok Waling-Waling, Brgy Poblacion, Aurora, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 8:30 PM of August 26, 2018.

Initial investigation conducted disclosed that victim identified as Marlon Detalla y Quiño, 34 years old, with live-in partner, tire vulcanizer by occupation and a resident of said place.

The victim was about to closed his vulcanizing shop, a minute thereafter, unidentified suspect wearing brown jacket with hood approached nearer to the victim, then drew and fired his gun two times towards the victim (Marlon Detalla).

As a result the victim (Marlon Detalla) sustained one gunshot wound on his abdomen, that after the incident suspect immediately on board a motorcycle heading to Brgy San Jose Aurora.

During the conduct of ocular inspection at the crime scene PNP team recovered one fired bullet of unknown firearm which are now being kept as evidence for further ballistics examination.

The victim immediately rushed to Aurora Community Emergency (ACE) Hospital located at Brgy Cabilinan, Aurora, Zamboanga Del Sur for immediate medication but subsequently transferred to Zamboanga del Sur Provincial Medical Center, Dao, Pagadian City for further medication.

Motive of the incident is yet to be disclosed. Investigator on Case is SPO1 Adonis V Durangparang CP # 09284069749

1 wounded in Explosion Incident in Pagadian City

PAGADIAN CITY (Aug. 27, 2018) – One person was wounded in an explosion transpired at Purok Bakhaw, Barangay Kawit, Pagadian City about 9:15 PM of August 26, 2018. Acting on said report, elements of Pagadian City Police Station proceeded to the place of incident to conduct inspection and investigation.

Upon arrival thereat, said team immediately conducted the EOD team and SOCO to process the crime scene.

Initial investigation conducted disclosed that, according to the residents of said place, a loud explosion was heard particularly at the house of the victim identified as Merna Tanoy, 39 years old, female and a resident of said place.

At around 9:45 PM, EOD Team arrived and immediately conducted post blast investigation, while the SOCO Team arrived at 9:55 PM of said date and process the crime scene.

According their investigation, the kind of explosion is still to be determined. Further investigation revealed that, the explosive was placed under the house of the victim particularly at one of the post of the victim’s house made of bamboo. 

That during the incident, said victim sustained minor injury on her left hand and no other casualty involved. Motive of the incident is still to be determined.

Personnel of Pagadian City Police Station are now conducting thorough investigation for the possible identification of the suspect.

Meanwhile, SOCO and EOD team are still conducting examination to determine the type of explosive being used. Investigator on case is PO1 Renji Narciso with contact no. 09128212873.

1 person wounded in Shooting Incident

DINAS, Zamboanga del Sur (Aug.27, 2018) – One person was wounded in Shooting incident transpired at Purok Mangga, Brgy Sungayan, Dinas, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 3:30 AM of August 25, 2018.

Immediately, responding PNP personnel of Dinas MPS responded at the crime scene. Initial investigation conducted disclosed that at about 3:30 AM of the same date, one Ruel Ramole Montuerto, 25 years old, single and resident of Purok Mambatangan, Manolo, Bukidnon was shot by unidentified suspect wearing a mask at the balcony of the house of his girlfriend Jenelyn Gamboa at the aforementioned place.

The unidentified suspect was immediately fled to unknown direction after the incident. Per testimony of one Felix Gamboa (father of Jenelyn), while the victim was having a conversation at the balcony of the house with his girlfriend, suspect suddenly shot the victim once, hitting the right side of his stomach with the used of .45 caliber based on the recovered empty shell at the crime scene by the responding PNP personnel.  

The Victim was brought to Margosatubig Regional Hospital for immediate medical treatment. Likewise, Dinas MPS is still conducting thorough investigation to disclosed the motive and for the possible identification and arrest of the suspect.

2 Arrested in Manhunt Operation at Kalawit, Zamboanga Del Norte

DUMINGAG, Zamboanga del Sur (Aug. 27, 2018) – The PNP elements of Dumingag MPS, Zamboanga Del Sur Provincial Mobile Company, Zamboanga Del Sur Provincial Intelligence Branch, Regional Intelligence Division 9 and Pagadian CPS in coordination with Kalawit MPS conducted a joint “Man-hunt” operation at Purok 5, Brgy Gatas, Kalawit, Zambonaga Del Norte at about 6:00PM of August 25, 2018.

The operation was resulted to the successful arrest of two wanted persons identified as Jose Dennis Labang alias “Tatung”, 53 years old, married, resident of Sitio Kalubihan, Brgy Lipawan, Dumingag. Hw was arrested by virtue of WOA docketed under CC # 1363-2K18 for the crime of Murder issued by Hon Judge Dennis P Vicoy, Presiding Judge, RTC 9th Judicial Region, Branch 20, Pagadian City on July 11, 2018 with no bail bond recommended. Also arrested Danny Boy Labang alias “Boboy”, 46 years old, married, resident of Sitio Kalubihan, Brgy Lipawan, Dumingag, by virtue of WOA docketed under CC # 2000-10-1055 for the crime of Murder issued by Hon Judge Jaime B. Caberte, Presiding Judge of RTC 9th Judicial Region, Branch 23, Molave, Zamboanga del Sur on June 6, 2010 with no bail bond recommended.

Further, Jose Dennis Labang alias “Tatung now in costudy and temporarily detained at Pagadian CPS while Danny Boy Labang alias “Boboy” now in costudy and temporarily detained at Dumingag MPS for proper disposition.

Suspect killed in Counter-Strike and Stop-And-Frisk Operation

MOLAVE, Zamboanga del Sur (Aug. 27, 2018) – The suspect was killed during the conduct of Police Counter-Strike and Stop-and-Frisk operation in Molave municipality of this province, police official said.

Police Regional Office 9 PIO Chief PCINSP Helen L. Galvez disclosed that the operating troops were composed of the combined elements of 902nd Mobile Company of RMFB9, Regional Intelligence Division 9, Zamboanga del Sur Provincial Intelligence Branch and Molave Municipal Police Station conducted the said operation at Rizal Avenue, Barangay Madasigun, Molave Municipality Saturday, Aug. 25 at around 4pm.

Galvez said that during the conduct of the said stop-and-frisk against an identified gun-for hire personality fully known as Anito Gengson Gungob @ "Cito", the latter suddenly drew his concealed .38 revolver purposing to aim the same against police which prompted some members of the operating team to take a shot at the hostile subject which eventually resulted to his death.

Galvez added that the subject is believed to be responsible in some shooting and robbery incidents in the neighboring province of Zamboang Del Norte and Zamboanga Del Sur areas. (By JONG CADION)
