Murder Suspect Arrested

PAGADIAN CITY (10, 2018) – The Detective personnel of Pagadian City Police Station and Tangub City Police Station conducted joint police operation on wanted person (Service of Arrest Warrant) at about 8:30 PM of August 08, 2018 at Purok 1, Barangay Prenza, Tangub City.

The operation was resulted to the arrest of the murdr suspect identified as MelchorCateanVellegas, 42 years old, male, married, farmer, Filipino and a resident of Purok 2, Barangay Pedolunan, Pagadian City.

The accused was arrested by the virtue of Warrant of Arrest for the crime of Murder with criminal case number 12184-2k15 issued on July 24, 2015 by Honorable Judge Rolando L Goan, Presiding Judge, Regional Trial Court, 10th Judicial Region, Branch 21, Pagadian City.

The accused is now in protective custody and booking procedure of Tangub City Police Station with no bail bond recommended.

Hacking Incident

PAGADIAN CITY (Aug. 10, 2018) - Hacking incident transpired at Purok Mabuhay, San Francisco District, Pagadian City at about 5:20 PM of August 8, 2018.

Accordingly, the victim identified as Noel Balasi Gemeniano was at the house of Herminio Geminiano Jr. drinking liquor alone when his cousin identified as Jumar Kent Dela Rosa Gemeniano, of legal age, and a resident of Cabrera St. San Francisco District, Pagadian City surfaced and went inside the house.

The victim noticed that the suspect Jumar Kent, upon arriving at the house dropped his bag in the table in an angry manner and told him that he was being backbitten by the victim.

Both involved persons engage in a heated argument wherein at the height of their altercation, suspect took bolo knife which was placed on the lobby and immediately hacked the victim.

The victim sustained 4cm laceration on his left forearm. After the incident suspect hurriedly went out from the house and going to Alliance Church direction.

RA 9262 Violator Arrested in Pagadian City

PAGADIAN CITY (Aug. 10, 2018) – The PNP Personnel of Pagadian City Police Station conducted manhunt operation at Zone 9, Block 2, Lot 5, Phase 2, Lower Alta Tierra Tiguma Subdivision, Barangay Tiguma, Pagadian City at about 5:00 PM of August 9, 2018.

This resulted was in the successful arrest of Elviro Marabulas jr. y Cabanas,37 years old, born on November, 25,1980, male, married and a resident of the above-mentioned place

The accused was arrested by the virtue of Warrant of Arrest for Violation of section 5, RA 9262 or otherwise known as the "Anti-Violence Against Women and Their Children Act of 2004."The case was docketed with criminal case number 16-13068 dated June 13, 2018 issued by: Hon. Cleto r Villacora III, Presiding Judge, RTC National Capital Region, branch 229,Quezon Citywith No bail recommended.  

The arrested subject person is now under the custody of Pagadian CPS for proper disposition.
