1 killed in Stabbing and shooting Incident in Labangan, Zamboanga Del Sur

LABANGAN, Zambo. del Sur (Aug. 3, 2018) – One person was killed Stabbing incident occurred at Barangay Binayan, Labangan, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 7:30 PM of August 3, 2018.

PO3 Jennifer E. Buco, case investrigator said that in their initial investigation conducted disclosed, that prior to the incident at around 7:30pm of said date the victim identified as Pedilino Andilab y Canonyo, 46 years old, married, Barangay Tanod member and a resident of same place was walking going to their Barangay Hall to render his duty when waylaid and stabbed several times by unidentified suspect/s using hunting knife.

PO3 Buco added that the victim was hit on his chest caused the latter to fell down, suspect/s not contented of the fatal stabbed wounds suffered by the victim, attacked and shot the victim in closed range with the use of undetermined caliber of firearm hitting on the right side of his head which exited on the left side causing his instantaneous death.

The cadaver of the victim is now lies at his residence. Motive of incident is believed to be personal grudge. (By JONG CADION)

Man Wanted for the Crime of Murder in Dinas, Zamboanga Del Sur, Arrested in Misamis Occidental

DINAS, ZamboSur (Aug. 3, 2018) – The Combined PNP personnel from Dinas MPS, Zamboanga del sur and Tangub City Police Station, Missamis Occidental conducted manhunt operation at Tangub City, Misamis Occidental at about 10:30 AM of August 2, 2018

The operation was resulted in the arrest of Ramonito Asoy y Rible aka Jun Jun, 40 years old, male, married and a resident of Barangay Sumpotan, Dinas, Zamboanga Del Sur.  

The accused was arrested by virtue of Warrant of Arrest for the crime of Murder dated July 31, 2001 issued by: Hon. Edilberto G. Absin, Presiding Judge. RTC 9, branch 29 San Miguel, Zamboanga Del Sur docketed under criminal case number 1400-D, with No bail recommended. 

The arrested subject person is now under the custody of Dinas MPS for proper disposition. (By JONG CADION)

Road Crash Incident in Dumalinao, Zamboanga Del Sur

DUMALINAO, Zamboanga Del Sur (Aug. 3, 2018) – Road crash incident transpired along the National Highway of Purok Kalinis Brgy Pag-asa Dumalinao, Zamboanga Del Sur on August 02, 2018 at about 09:00 AM.

The MC and Vehicle involved described as:

MC A = one single MC TMX color black, no plate with an extension for a fish carrier, owned and driven by Julito Gamolo Revelo, 40, married, fish vendor, resident of Purok Antorium , Brgy Pantad Dumalinao  Zamboaga del Sur.                      

Vehicle B = one forward truck with plate no MCK 325 driven by Raul Waga Yap, 54, resident of St. Maria Dist, Pagadian City.

Investigation conducted disclosed that MC A was traversing from Pagadian City bound to Brgy Pantad Dumalinao that upon reaching the intersection of Purok Kalinis, Brgy Pag-asa, Dumalinao. Upon signaling to turn left allegedly and surprisingly Vehicle B appeared from behind and overtook without due care that resulted to sideswiped the MC A and damage its loaded of two boxes of fish.

Further investigation revealed that the driver of Vehicle B was under the influenced of liquor. Fortunately no one was injured in the incident and both drivers were brought to Dumalinao MPS for proper disposition. (By JONG CADION)

Construction Worker Arrested in Pitogo, Zamboanga Del Sur for the Crime of Homicide

PITOGO, ZamboSur (Aug. 3, 3028) – The PNP personnel of Pitogo MPS conducted manhunt operation at Purok Potato, Barangay Poblacion, Pitogo, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 9:20 AM of August 2, 2018.

The operation was resulted in the arrest of the suspect identified as Jessim Castro y Castillano, 30 years old, male, single, construction worker and a resident of Purok Potato, Barangay Poblacion, Pitogo, Zamboanga Del Sur.

The accused was arrested by the virtue of Warrant of Arrest for the crime of Homicide with criminal case number 08-052, dated June 23, 2008 issued by Hon. Edilberto S Absin, Presiding Judge, RTC 9, Branch 29, San Miguel, Zamboanga Del Sur with bail recommended of Forty Thousand (40,000.00) pesos. 

The arrested subject person is now under the custody of Pitogo MPS for proper disposition.(By JONG CADION)

Rape Suspect Arrested in Guipos, Zamboanga Del Sur

GUIPOS, ZamboSur (Aug. 3, 2018)- A farmer who was facing Rape and Acts of Lasciviousness charges was arrested by PNP elements of Guipos Municipal Police Station PS in a manhunt operation “charlie” at Purok 2, Brgy Katipunan, Guipos, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 7:20 AM of August 1, 2018.

Police Senior Inspector Jaycel R Cabarrubias, Guipos Police Chief, identified the accused as Feliciano S Patires, 62 years old, married farmer and resident of the

The accused was arrested by virtue of Warrant of Arrest (WOA) docketed under Criminal Case # 13948-2k18 for the crime of Rape under Art 266-A para 2 in relation to Section 5(b) RA 7610 with bail bond recommended of Php120,000.00. Another case of Acts of Lasciviousness (3 counts) docketed under Criminal Case # 13949-2k18, 13950-2k18 and 13951-2k18 with bail bond recommended of Php36,000.00.  The WOA was issued by Hon Judge Analyn F Ramas-Costanilla, Acting Presiding Judge of RTC Branch 23, Pagadian City, Zamboanga Del Sur dated July 4, 2018.

RA 9262 Violator Cuffed in Pagadian City

PAGADIAN CITY, Zamboanga Del Sur (Aug. 3, 2018) - The detective personnel of Pagadian City Police Station conducted Manhunt Operation “Charlie” at Purok Tugas, Balangasan District, Pagadian City at about 10:00 AM of August 1, 2018.

Arrested was one (1) Al Rica Lambiuit, 30 years old, male, single, Filipino and resident of the above-mentioned place

This is by virtue of Warrant of Arrest docketed under Criminal Case # 13918-1k18 for the crime of Violation of Section 5(i) of RA 9262 issued by Hon Judge Analyn F Ramas-Costanilla, Presiding Judge, RTC 9th Judicial Region, Branch 22, Pagadian City on June 20, 2018.

Carnapper Arested in Mahayag, Zamboanga Del Sur 

MAHAYAG, ZamboSur (Aug. 3, 2018) – The PNP personnel of Molave MPS and Mahayag MPS has arrested a notorious Carnapper in a joint Manhunt Operation “Charlie” at Purok Tinago, Barangay Sicpao, Mahayag, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 4:45pm of August 1, 2018.

Police Chief Inspector Olympus W Bas, Molave Police Chief identified the arrested person as one Ariel Baylosis Oplan, 23 years old, male, single and resident of Purok Maliwanag, Brgy Parasan, Molave, Zamboanga Del Sur.

CINSP Bas said that the wanted person was arrested by virtue of Warrant of Arrest with Criminal Case # 13927-2k18 for the crime of Carnapping with bail recommended of Php 00,000.00 issued by Hon Judge Ivy Damayo Elviña, Presiding Judge, RTC Branch 21, Pagadian City on July 17, 2018. 

The arrested person is now under the custody of Molave MPS for documentation and booking procedure prior turn over to the issuing court for proper disposition. (By JONG CADION)

Dead Body Found inside the Lodging House at Pagadian City

PAGADIAN CITY(Aug. 3, 2018) - A dead body was reportedly found in the room at Lyn’s Lodging House, Pagadian City, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 9:00 AM of August 02, 2018.

Police Superintendent Alvin P Saguban, Chief of Police, said that the victim identified as Refaila Abing y Pepito, 40 years old, female, Filipino, married and a resident of Zone 1, Barangay Tiguma, Pagadian City, was lodged at the aforementioned place about 1:30 AM of August 02, 2018 together with unidentified male companion.

The owner of the lodging house could not produce any documents to identify the male suspect because they have no logbook to register their costumer. Based on a CCTV Footage viewed by the responding investigator that the victim and the unidentified suspect entered the room and at about 2:56 in the morning of same date the suspect came out at the room alone wearing helmet and without slipper.

After a few seconds the suspect turn back and entered the room and after a few seconds went out from the room and already wearing his slipper and locked the door of the room and left the room going downward at the lodging house.

The cadaver of the victim now lies at Gamalinda Funeral Home. Motive of the incident is still to be determined. The Pagadian City Police Station is now conducting a follow up investigation for possible identification of the fleeing suspect.
