Drug Personality Arrested in Drug Bust

AURORA, Zamboanga del Sur (Aug.17, 2018) –TheCombined operatives of Aurora Municipal Police Station, Drugs Enforcement Unit and Provincial Intelligence Branch of Zamboanga del Sur PPO successfully arrested one illegal drug personality during the conduct of buy-bust operation at Purok Santa Cruz, Barangay Libertad, Aurora, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 1:50pm of August 15, 2018.

The operating trrops identified the arrested person asRuby Archival Y Sirapin Aka “Tiban”, 33 years old, male, married, elementary level, rice agent and a resident of Purok 2, Barangay San Juan, Aurora, Zamboanga Del Sur.

The operating team confiscated from the suspect’s possession three pieces sachet of shabu, one pc P500 peso bill buy-bust money and one unit single motorcycle Honda Beat, colored white and red combination without plate number.

The arrested illegal drug personalityis now under custody of Aurora Municipal Police Station, Aurora, Zamboanga Del Sur for filing of appropriate charges in court.

Couple arrested for violation of RA 8048

DUMINGAG, Zamboanga del Sur (Aug 17, 2018) – The Combined PNP personnel of Dumingag Municipal Police Station and Regional Mobile Force Battalion 9 conducted manhunt operation at Purok 1, Barangay Bag-ong Kauswagan, Dumingag, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 11:00 AM of August 15, 2018.

The operation was resulted in the arrest of Basilio Buagas Y Bendanillo, 61 years of age, married, farmer and his spouse identified as Celestina Buagas Y Gapol, 62 years of age, married, housewife, both residents of Purok 1 Brgy. Bag-ong Kauswagan, Dumingag, Zamboanga Del Sur

They were arrested by the virtue Warrant of Arrest for the Violation of section 4, RA 8048 otherwise known as “Prohibition.—No coconut tree shall be cut except in the following cases and only after a permit had been issued therefor: (a) When the tree is sixty years old.” The case was docketed under Criminal Case number 5130-D with bail recommended of Twelve Thousand Pesos (Php12, 000.00) each issued on August 6, 2018 issued by Hon. Crislyn C. Pangindian, Presiding Judge of 11th MCTC, Mahayag-Dumingag & Josefina, Mahayag, Zamboanga del Sur.

The two arrested subject persons are now under the custody of Dumingag MPS for proper disposition.

Cadaver Found in Margosatubig, Zamboanga Del Sur

MARGOSATUBIG, Zamboanga del Sur (Aug.17, 2018) - A cadaver was found at Purok 1, Barangay Balintawak, Margosatubig, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 5:30 in the morning of August 15, 2018.

SPO2 Fernan T Galadlas, investigator on case of Margosatubig Municipal Police Station (MPS) identified the dead body victim as Elanio Paragas y Hubid, 41 years old, married, farmer and a resident of Sitio Bangan Bangan, Barangay Bio-us, Vincenzo Sagun, Zamboanga Del Sur.

SPO2 Galadlas said that the Victim’s head was dismembered and nowhere to be found, that in the early morning of August 15, 2018 residents of the said Barangay discovered the mutilated body of the victim lying on the trail. The residents in the locality help find the head of the victim but as of this time it was not yet located.

Margosatubig MPS now conducted investigation and hot pursuit operation for the possible identity and arrest of the suspect.

Hacking Incident

DINAS, Zamboanga del Sur (Aug.17, 2018) - Hacking incident occurred at Purok Avocado, Barangay Kinakap, Dinas, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 8:30 PM of August 15, 2018.

The victim was identified as Rollyvie Tacloban Tagaloguin, 21 years old, Male, Single, Construction worker and a resident of Barangay Kinakap, Dinas, Zamboanga Del Sur.

He was hacked by suspect identified as certain Rabben Del Rosario, 22 years old, male, married, farmer and a resident of above-mentioned place.

Initial investigation disclosed that both victim and suspect along with two companions were having a drinking session at Marmin Pangasian sari sari store located at the above-mentioned place and after finishing the session the suspect stand up and went to his house near to the said store.

The victim and his companions also decided to leave wherein while on his way home, suspect come out carrying a bolo and with no further reason he immediately attacked the victim. He sustained hacked wound at his left forehead.

The victim run away to his house and was brought to Dinas health center by his uncle for medical treatment.

The Dinas MPS immediately conducted follow up operation resulting to the apprehension of the suspect. He was then brought to Dinas MPS and temporary detained for proper disposition. PO2 Frasad Moharibain- Investigator on case with contact number 09268817417

1 old man died in Motor Vehicle Accident

SAN MIGUEL, Zamboanga del Sur (Aug.17, 2018) – An old man was dead in Motor vehicle accident transpired at Purok 2, Barangay Betinan, San Miguel, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 8:00 AM of August 15, 2018.

The victim identified as Valentin Intes Gonzalo, 77 years old, male married, a resident of Purok Kalubian, Poblacion, Pitogo, Zamboanga del Sur, he was accidentally bumped by a Lifan single MC driven by Marcelo Salaga y Juyad , 31 years old, male, married, a resident of Purok 7, Barangay Kahayagan, Bayog, Zamboanga del Sur.

The victim was immediately rushed to Margosatubig Regional Hospital, Margosatubig, Zamboanga del sur but the attending physician pronounced him dead on arrival (DOA).

The aforementioned driver of Lifan single MC is temporarily in custody of San Miguel MPS for proper disposition. Investigator on case is SPO1 Wilington Siaton with contact no. 09778019723

RA 9262 Violator Arrested in Molave, Zamboanga Del Sur

MOLAVE, Zamboanga del Sur (Aug.17, 2018) – The PNP personnel of Molave Municipal Police Station conducted manhunt operation at Magsaysay Street, Barangay Culo, Molave, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 8:30 AM of August 15, 2018.

The operation was resulted to the successful arrest of one Adelo Sumalpong Y Villegas, 30 years old, married, collector and resident of Magsaysay St., Culo, Molave, Zamboanga Del Sur.

This is by the virtue of alias warrant for the crime of Violence Against Women and Children or RA 9262 with Crimanal Case Number 2017-10-3432 issued by Hon. Judge Jaime B. Caberte, Presiding Judge, RTC, Branch 23, Molave, Zamboanga del Sur dated June 18, 2018 with a bail bond of Twenty four thousand (P24,000.00) pesos.

The arrested subject person is now under the custody of Molave MPS for proper disposition.

Cadaver Found in Kumalarang, Zamboanga Del Sur

KUMALARANG, Zamboanga del Sur (Aug.17, 2018) - A cadaver was found at Kumalarang Public Cemetery located at Purok Malig, Barangay Poblacion, Kumalarang, Zamboanga del Sur.

Immediately, The PNP team of Kumalarang MPS together with Mr. Baser M Dacula, Municipal Sanitary Inspector proceeded to the area to conduct investigation and ocular inspection. 

Initial investigation conducted by the responding PNP team disclosed that at about 03:30 o’clock in the afternoon of August 16, 2018, while a group of men was currently working in one of the graveyard at Kumalarang Public Cemetery, Purok Malig, Barangay Poblacion, Kumalarang, they have smelled foul odor believed to be from a rotten carcass.

One of them searched the place following said odor and found out later that it was coming from human cadaver under the state of decomposition lying in one of the graveyard thereat.  

said found dead body which was later identified as the insane person who came in this municipality sometime in the month of June 2018, about 5’4 in height, male, with bald head, fair complexion, around 28 years old, medium built with no personal identity, address, identified families and relatives.

That prior to his death, said insane person was always seen at the Kumalarang Public Cemetery where he used to dwell. Further, said insane person relies only to some good Samaritans who offer him food to eat to sustain his meals. 

That it was believed to be dead for about 4-5 days since he was last seen alive in said cemetery with no signs of injury nor wounds that it was being mauled, stabbed or hacked or other physical form of abused which can be considered as the cause of his death.

Said found dead body was immediately buried in one of the vacant lot of aforesaid cemetery as per recommendation of the municipal health officer to prevent spread of possible disease.  (By JONG CADION)
